[:es]En la Universidad Anáhuac México Norte, en Huixquilucan, comenzó a desarrollarse la segunda edición del Foro FISU América, que se extenderá hasta el 24 de noviembre.

El Comité Organizador conformado por personal de la mencionada Universidad en conjunto con el Consejo Nacional del Deporte de la Educación (CONDDE) definió que el foro sea en dos idiomas oficiales, español e inglés. El eje del Foro FISU América 2018 es “El Deporte en la Currícula Universitaria”.

Tras la ceremonia inaugural, comenzaron las conferencias magistrales y de especialidades, ponencias científicas relacionadas al deporte y feria tecnológica, entre otros atractivos para los estudiantes, entrenadores, dirigentes y público en general, que llegó desde todo el continente. Los primeros disertantes fueron fue Eric Saintrod, secretario General de FISU, y Alim Maluf Neto, Presidente de FISU América, quienes abordaron el calendario del deporte universitario.

La Universidad anfitriona es joven, pero ha demostrado ser una de las de mayor crecimiento en los últimos años, y en 2006 fue distinguida como Institución de Excelencia Académica, distinción que también alcanzó a otros programas de la casa en 2009. Se encuentra ubicada en una zona bonita de Huixquilucan, un aspecto no menor para los visitantes.

Autoridades de FISU América están presentes y también serán oradores del foro: el presidente Alim Maluf Neto (Brasil), el vicepresidente Manuel Merodio, el secretario Sandy Rodríguez (Venezuela), el tesorero Emiliano Ojea (Argentina); el representante de COSUD, Daniel Muñoz, el representante de ODUCC, Gerardo Corrales, y los presidentes de las federaciones deportivas universitarias de Chile, Víctor Méndez, Perú, Carlos Torrea Llapa, Colombia, Francisco Sandoval, y El Salvador, Alex Funes. También se destaca la presencia de Rosaura Méndez, asesora y presidenta de la Comisión de Igualdad de Género en FISU.

At the Anáhuac México North University, in Huixquilucan, the second edition of the Forum FISU America began, which will run until November 24.

The host university is young, but it has proven to be one of the fastest growing in recent years, and in 2006 it was distinguished as an Institution of Academic Excellence, a distinction that also reached other programs of the house in 2009.
