[:es]Cerca de 1.500 estudiantes atletas de Centroamérica y República Dominicana comienzan hoy a vivir la séptima edición de los Juegos deportivos Universitarios Centroamericanos y de República Dominicana JUDUCA 2018.

Hasta el 21 de abril en la Universidad de Panamá, representantes de ocho países se medirán en 10 disciplinas: atletismo, ajedrez, baloncesto, fútbol sala, fútbol, natación, tenis de mesa, taekwondo, karate y voleibol.

La inauguración de los cinco días de competencia será en el campo deportivo “Óscar Suman Carrillo” del Campus Octavio Méndez Pereira. Para mayor información se puede consultar el sitio web oficial en juducapanama2018.com o seguir el perfil de los juegos en redes sociales.

La mascota de los juegos es el Águila Harpía, que además es el símbolo nacional de Panamá.[:en]Nearly 1,500 student athletes from Central America and the Dominican Republic begin today to experience the seventh edition of the Central America and the Dominican Republic University Sports Games JUDUCA 2018.

Until April 21 at the University of Panama, representatives of eight countries will be measured in 10 disciplines: athletics, chess, basketball, futsal, soccer, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, karate and volleyball.
