[:es]Anticipando lo que será el diálogo estratégico con autoridades de FISU, el Comité Ejecutivo de FISU America se reunió en Brasil, donde además se trató la programación de eventos para 2018. Estuvieron presentes el presidente Alim Maluf Neto, el vicepresidente Manuel Merodio, el secretario General Sandy Rodríguez, el tesorero Emiliano Ojea, la asesora América Alvarado, el presidente de ODUCC Gerardo Corrales, y el presidente de COSUD, Daniel Muñoz.
Tras las palabras de bienvenida, el presidente Alim Maluf Neto presentó la agenda de la reunión, dividida en dos puntos principales: Dialogo Estratégico FISU – FISU América y Programación de Eventos de FISU América para 2018.
Sobre el primero de los tópicos, se anticipó el evento que se realizará los días 20 y 21 octubre en el Centro de la Excelencia del Deporte, Goiás, con la participación de 14 países: Argentina, Brasil, Bolivia, Chile, Nicaragua, Cuba, México, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Honduras, Uruguay, República Dominica, Estados Unidos y Perú. Además, llegarán el presidente de FISU, Oleg Matytsin, el primer vicepresidente Leonz Eder, el vicepresidente Luciano Cabral, la asesora Rosaura Méndez, y el director de Desarrollo Laurent Briel. Durante la reunión los miembros del Comité Ejecutivo de FISU América evaluaron lo relacionado con la organización de este evento y la importancia de determinar el papel protagónico que debe tener la organización en el Plan de Desarrollo de la FISU 2017 – 2027.
Por otra parte, se determinó que la programación de eventos de FISU América 2018 estará conformada por tres eventos competitivos y un evento académico. Los eventos deportivos tendrán como principal a los primeros Juegos de FISU América Sao Paulo 2018, a realizarse del 20 al 29 de julio de 2018. También está prevista la segunda Liga de Básquet 3X3 de FISU América para junio de 2018 y la primera Liga de Fútbol FISU América en noviembre de 2018. Ambas ligas serán clasificatorias para las finales de las ligas mundiales de estos deportes organizadas por FISU.
En el caso del evento académico está pautado realizar la segunda edición del Foro FISU América, que tendrá como eje principal “La Industria Deportiva Universitaria”.
Se acordó la apertura de los procesos de postulaciones para las ligas de Fútbol y Básquet 3X3, y para el Foro FISU América 2018, desde el 20 de octubre hasta el 30 de noviembre de 2017.
El secretario General de FISU América, Sandy Rodríguez, informó que el pasado 10 de octubre de 2017, en la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela, se habían realizado Elecciones de Autoridades de la Federación Venezolana Deportiva de Educación Universitaria (FEVEDEU) para el período 2017-2021. La nueva Junta Directiva está integrada por: presidente Leonardo Morales, vicepresidente Jonny Noriega, secretario General Marcos Manzano, tesorero Manuel Amesty y vocal Leonardo Villamizar. La Federación de Deporte Universitario de Perú también realizo elecciones y estará presidida por Carlos Torres, a quien esperan para el Diálogo Estratégico FISU – FISU América.[:en]
Anticipating the strategic dialogue with FISU authorities, FISU America’s Executive Committee met in Brazil, where they also discussed the schedule of events for 2018. There were presents President Alim Maluf Neto, Vice President Manuel Merodio, General Secretary Sandy Rodríguez, treasurer Emiliano Ojea, counsellor América Alvarado, ODUCC President Gerardo Corrales, and COSUD President Daniel Muñoz.
After welcoming words, President Alim Maluf Neto presented the meeting agenda, divided into two main points: Strategic Dialogue FISU – FISU América, and Programming of Events of FISU America for 2018.
On the first of the topics, the event will be held on October 20 and 21 at the Sports Excellence Centre, Goiána, with the participation of 14 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Nicaragua, Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Honduras, Uruguay, the Dominican Republic, the United States and Peru. In addition, will arrive FISU President Oleg Matytsin, First Vice President Leonz Eder, Vice President Luciano Cabral, Advisor Rosaura Méndez, and Development Director Laurent Briel.
During the meeting, members of FISU America’s Executive Committee evaluated the organization of this event and the importance of determining the leading role that the organization should play in FISU 2017-2027 development plan.
On the other hand, it was determined that FISU 2018 event schedule will have three competitive events and one academic event. The main sporting event will be the first FISU América Games Sao Paulo 2018, to be held from July 20 to 29, 2018. The second FISU América 3X3 Basketball League is also scheduled for June 2018 and the first FISU America Football League in November 2018. Both will be qualifying for the finals of world leagues of these sports organized by FISU.
In the case of the academic event, the second edition of the FISU America Forum is scheduled to take place, with the main topic being “University Sporting Industry”.
It was agreed to open the application processes for the 3X3 Football and Basketball leagues, and for the FISU America 2018 Forum, from October 20 to November 30, 2017.
FISU America General Secretary, Sandy Rodriguez, reported that on October 10, 2017, in Caracas, Venezuela, elections of the Venezuelan Federation of University Education (FEVEDEU) authorities for the period 2017-2021 had been held. The new Board of Directors is composed by: President Leonardo Morales, Vice President Jonny Noriega, General Secretary Marcos Manzano, Treasurer Manuel Amesty and Vocal Leonardo Villamizar. The University Sport Federation of Peru also held elections and will be chaired by Carlos Torres, who is been waited for FISU – FISU América Strategic Dialogue.[:]
