[:es]Con 5 equipos provenientes de 4 diferentes países de nuestro continente dice presente en otro torneo internacional de deporte universitario. Brasil, Canadá, México y Uruguay desde ayer y hasta el 1° de diciembre estarán luchando por quedarse con la Copa Mundial de la FISU
Esta es la primera FISU Copa Mundial de Fútbol, donde tres universidades de nuestro continente en la rama masculina y dos en la rama femenina serán parte, siendo la Universidad Paulista, participe en ambas ramas.
En la rama masculina, el Grupo C está compuesto por la Universidad Paulista(BRA), la Myongji University(KOR), Borys G Kyiv University(UKR) y la Int. University Lng. Media(ITA). El grupo B está formado por Bangkok Thonburi U (THA), Kotebe Met. U(ETH), Beijing IT(CHN) y la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México(MEX).
Junto con la Universidad de la República(URU) completan el Grupo D la Split U.(CRO), Hohai Univ.(CHN) y la Smolensk State Academy (RUS).
El Grupo A de Mujeres está formado por Beijing Normal Uni(CHN), Paulista University(BRA), University of Sidney(AUS) y University of Lausanne.
El ex jugador profesional de fútbol, Luis Figo, fue parte del sorteo de grupos, mientras que Sebastián Verón, de Argentina, y también ex jugador profesional, estuvo presente en la Ceremonia de Apertura. La presencia de estas importantes celebridades del mundo del fútbol profesional, evidencia el crecimiento e impacto que tiene la FISU en el deporte profesional.
Una colorida Ceremonia de Apertura, los 16 equipos masculinos en acción por la fase de grupos hicieron su debut, y hubo grandes victorias para los equipos americanos de la Universidad Paulista(BRA), Universidad de la República(URU) y la Universidad Autónoma Estatal de México(MEX). Todo esto ocurrió en el día 1 del Uni Football en Jinjiang, China.[:en]With 5 teams from four different countries, our continent is present in another international event of university sport. This is the first FISU World Cup of Football, where three universities, from our continent, in the male branch, and 2 teams in the female branch are participating with the Paulista University has teams in both sexs.
In the Male branch for group C with the Paulista University are: the Myongji University(KOR), Borys G Kyiv University(UKR) and Int. University Lng Media(ITA). Group B is conformed by Bangkok Thonburi U (THA), Kotebe Met. U(ETH), Beijing IT(CHN) and the Aut. U Mexico State (MEX)
And with the Rep. University(URU) complete the Group D, the Split U.(CRO), Hohai Univ.(CHN) and the Smolensk State Academy (RUS).
The Women Group A is formed by Beijing Normal Uni(CHN), Paulista University(BRA), University of Sidney(AUS) and University of Lausanne.
And the Group B by Col. Asian Scholars(THA), Siberian Federal University(RUS), Donghua University(CHN) and the University of Ottawa(CAN).
The ex pro football player, Luis Figo, was part of the group draw. Sebastián Verón, also ex pro football player from Argentina, was present in the Opening Ceremony, these important personalities collaborating in the event, evidence the impact of the FISU‘s growth in the world of professional sports.
