[:es]Tras una asamblea desarrollada en la Villa de los Atletas de la Universiada de Verano 2017 en Taipéi, la Confederación Sudamericana Universitaria de Deportes (COSUD) renovó su comité ejecutivo.

Daniel Muñoz, de la Federación Nacional Universitaria de Deportes de Chile, es el nuevo presidente, en tanto que Lusimar Santos, de la Confederación Brasileña de Deporte Universitario, estará nuevamente ocupando la vicepresidencia, del mismo modo en que Martín Castro, de la Federación Deportiva Universitaria del Perú, volverá a ser secretario general.

Por otra parte, se definió que Adrián Verdini, de la Federación del Deporte Universitario Argentino, sea el tesorero, y que Francisco Sandoval, de la Asociación Colombiana de Universidades, el nuevo vocal.

En el encuentro también fue abordada la organización de diferentes competencias internacionales en diversos deportes y países.

El presidente de FISU América, Alim Maluf Neto, estuvo presente en la asamblea, en la que felicitó al comité saliente por la buena labor realizada, y deseó éxito a la nueva gestión para los próximos cuatro años de trabajo. “Estoy seguro que Daniel Muñoz y todo el Comité Ejecutivo continuarán motivando el crecimiento que viene atravesando el deporte universitario en la región”, expresó.

Daniel Muñoz, of the National University Sports Federation of Chile (Fenaude), is the new president, while Lusimar Santos, of the Brazilian Confederation of University Sports (CBDU), will again occupy the vice presidency, in the same way that Martin Castro of the Sports Federation University of Peru (Fedup), will be General Secretary.

On the other hand, it was defined Adrián Verdini, of Argentine University Sports Federation (FeDUA), as treasurer, and Francisco Sandoval, of the Colombian Association of Universities (ASCUN), as new vowel.

The meeting also dealt with the organization of different international competitions in various sports and countries.

The president of FISU America, Alim Maluf Neto, was present at the assembly, in which he congratulated the outgoing committee for the good work done, and wished success to the new management for the next four years of work. “I am sure that Daniel Muñoz and the whole Executive Committee will continue motivating the growth that comes through university sports in the region”, he said.
