[:es]Cada 20 de septiembre se celebra el Día Internacional del Deporte Universitario, proclamado por la UNESCO, en conjunto con la FISU, en el 2016 y que desde entonces convoca a todos aquellos que deciden vivir en este punto de encuentro entre el mundo académico y deportivo.

 

FISU AMERICA no fue la excepción y fue parte de múltiples festejos a lo largo y ancho de todo el continente, que contó en el día de la celebración con el inicio del 1° FISU AMERICA FUTSAL en Posadas, Argentina.

 

Allí, junto con la ceremonia de apertura, hubo festejos y celebraciones en las distintas sedes educativas de la ciudad y el país, que invitaron a que más gente se sume y dar visibilidad al mundo del deporte universitario.

 

No sólo Posadas fue foco de la celebración del IDUS (sigla en inglés para este día) sino que en todo Venezuela y bajo el apoyo de la FEVEDEU, quien organizo torneos de basket 3×3, ajedrez, Costa Rica (FEDE Costa Rica) con basket 3×3, futsal, festivales de voluntariado, y distintos talleres.

 

Brasil (CBDU) y Mexico (CONDDE) estuvieron a cargo de una jornada repleta de actividades con torneos de distintos deportes y actividades. Paraguay (ANDUP) organizó una corre-caminata, Peru (FEDUP) y Uruguay (LUD) fueron parte de los festejos también y en Barbados (TISAB) se organizó un campeonato de futsal.

 

El continente entero celebró este día tan importante para el desarrollo y crecimiento del deporte universitario y que cada año reúne más adeptos. Desde FISU AMERICA queremos agradecer a todos aquellos que se sumaron a los festejos y que apoyan y hacen día a día para que esto crezca.[:en]Every 20th of September since 2016, we celebrate the International Day of University Sport (IDUS), proclaimed by UNESCO, with the support of the FISU, that meet all the people who belong to this place where academics and sports find a point in common.

 

FISU AMERICA wasn’t the exception and was part of multiple celebration along the continent, when it had the start of the 1st edition of the FISU AMERICA FUTSAL en Posadas, Argentin, in that meaningful day.

 

There, also with the opening ceremony, the city had celebrations in the different universities of the city and the country, who invited many people to join and show them the university sport world.

 

Brazil (CBDU) and Mexico (CONDDE) were in charge of a full journey of activities with sport tournaments. Paraguay (ANDUP) organized a walk-running circuit, Peru (FEDUP) and Uruguay (LUD) were also part of this celebration, and in Barbados (TISAB) arrange a futsal championship.

 

The entire continent celebrated this important day for the growth and development of the university sport that every year meet more and more people. From FISU AMERICA we are so grateful with all these people who were part of this and every day make that university sport grow.[:]
