Within the framework of the Youth Olympic Games that takes place in Buenos Aires, FISU University Sports House received numerous and important visitors. From athletes and students from all over the world to coaches and sports leaders, they toured the space where the university movement of the continent and the world is shown, and conferences and exhibitions are held.

The president of FISU America, Alim Maluf Neto, stayed in Argentina, where together with the president of the Federation of Argentine University Sports (FeDUA), Emiliano Ojea, received the president of FISU, Oleg Matytsin, with whom they visited the National University of La Matanza (UNLaM) for a meeting with the rector, Daniel Martínez, sports directors and students athletes from all over the country.

The president of Brazilian Olympic Committee was one of the visitors in the house.

“It was very profitable and a pleasure to talk with rectors, student athletes and sport directors of Argentine universities, showing them our university sports movement, and presenting the activities promoted by FISU America,” said Maluf Neto.

In the University Sports House located in the Olympic Park was received the president of the Brazilian Olympic Committee, Paulo Vanderley, one of the main promoters of university sport movement from Brazil and of the entire continent, since in that country the historic first edition of the FISU America Games was held with a great support.

In addition, the authorities of FISU America signed a cooperation agreement with the Pan-American Badminton Confederation, through its president, Vishu Tolan, to promote the practice of this sport through joint work with national federations throughout the continent. The Spanish David Cabello, executive director of the International Badminton Federation, was also present in the memorandum of understanding signature.
