[:es]En los primeros días de julio se llevarán a cabo las XXX Universiadas de Verano Napoli 2019 y FISU AMERICA contará con representación de varios países que la componen. En esta oportunidad es el turno de la Delegación de Chile(FENAUDE) y charlamos con Victor Méndez, presidente de la federación.

 

‘’Estamos con muchas expectativas de participar y nos hemos preparado de la mejor manera posible. Trabajamos durante este semestre para llevar una delegación lo más competitiva posible a estos Juegos Mundiales Universitarios en Nápoles’’.

Los representantes chilenos serán aproximadamente 100, de los cuales 73 participarán como deportistas, y los restantes ocuparán el rol de oficiales(entrenadores, delegados, cuerpo médico, entre otros).

 

Los primeros en partir hacia el viejo continente saldrán el día 29 de junio, para luego dividir a los faltantes en dos tandas entre el 30 del mismo mes y el 1 de julio.

 

Entre las disciplinas que representarán al país sudamericano se encuentran: atletismo, esgrima, judo, taekwondo, tenis de mesa y voley masculino.

 

Méndez habló también sobre la ilusión que tiene la FENAUDE de cara a estos nuevos Juegos Mundiales: ‘’Tenemos mucho ánimo y alegría de poder ser parte nuevamente de un evento deportivo de esta magnitud y dejar a Chile en lo más alto’’.[:en]In the first days of July will be carried out the 30th Summer Universiade Napoli 2019 are around the corner and, FISU AMERICA will be represented by some of the countries that compose it. ‘We are with a lot of expectations to participate and we have prepared in the best way possible. We worked during this semester to take the most competitive delegation in this new World University Games in Napoli’.

The Chilean representatives will be around 100, with 73 students-athletes and, the remaining will have the role of officials(coaches, delegates, medical staff, among other things).

 

The first group will leave on 29th of June, and the remaining will be separated between the 30th of June and 1st of July.

 

The sports that will have representation of the South American country will be: athletics, fencing, judo, taekwondo, table tennis, and male volleyball.

 

Méndez also commented about the excitement of the FENAUDE facing this World University Games: ‘We are so encouraged and happiness for being part again in such a sport event and position Chile at the top’.[:]
