[:es]La 36° Asamblea General FISU en Turin esta semana, reconoció y dejó el resultado de las elecciones del comité que estará a cargo de la FISU en los próximos cuatro años.
Las elecciones reflejaron el gran trabajo realizado por la federaciones del continente, consiguiendo ubicar representantes de FISU AMERICA en el Comité Ejecutivo de FISU, con 5 miembros siendo parte de este. El Vicepresidente de FISU, Luciano Cabral, fue reelecto en su cargo y mientras que el Presidente de FISU AMERICA, Alim Maluf Neto, seguirá representando el continente ante el mundo.
Alim Maluf Neto dijo a FISU AMERICA: “La asamblea fue muy importante para nosotros por conseguir que 3 miembros del Comité Ejecutivo electo sean de nuestro continente y la continuidad de Luciano Cabral como vicepresidente de FISU”
Acerca de los futuros eventos comentó: “Nos sirvió para saber y conocer el estado actual de los futuros eventos próximos que tiene programados la FISU”.
En esta nueva Asamblea General FISU, el elegido por primera vez en 2015 como líder del movimiento del deporte universitario, Oleg Matytsin fue premiado por su labor por los miembros del la FISU con la reelección para los próximos cuatro años. Un suceso histórico se desarrolló cuando Penninah Aligawesa Kabenge se convirtió en la primera mujer en el cargo de Vice Presidente de FISU.
El Comité Ejecutivo electo en Turin, ocupará el cargo durante las Universiadas de Lucerne y Chengdú 2021, y Lake Placid y Ekaterimburgo 2023. Representantes de los cuatro comités organizadores estuvieron presentes para poner al día de los preparativos.

These elections have shown a great improvement in the number of the different representatives from our continent in the FISU Executive Committee with 5 members from the continent, who are going to be part of it. Also the Vice-President of FISU, Luciano Cabral, was elected for the second consecutive time.
The President of FISU AMERICA, Alim Maluf Neto, will continue representing our continent in front of the world.
Alim Maluf Neto said to FISU AMERICA: ‘the assembly is very important for us, because 3 representatives from our continent were elected in the Executive Committee, and also the continuation of the FISU Vice-President, Luciano Cabral’.
About the future events of FISU he said: ‘It was good to update us about the next events organized by FISU’.
In this new FISU General Assembly, the first elected as the leader of the university sports movement in 2015, Oleg Matytsin was rewarded by members of the International University Sports Federation (FISU) with a further four-year term as President during the second and final day of the 36th FISU General Assembly. In a historic development, Penninah Aligawesa Kabenge was elected the first-ever female Vice President of the Federation.
The four-year term of the Executive Committee officials elected in Turin will cover Universiades to be held in Lucerne and Chengdu in 2021 and Lake Placid and Ekaterinberg in 2023. Representatives of all four organising committees were present to give updates regarding their preparations.
