[:es]Como cada 20 de septiembre, comienza otra celebración del Día Internacional del Deporte Universitario, iniciativa de FISU proclamada por la UNESCO. Y también como en cada año, FISU América y sus países se unirán a la consigna mundial “Let’s IDUS”, con actividades competitivas, recreativas y de difusión en todo el continente.
La Confederación Brasileña de Deporte Universitario (CBDU) centraliza sus festejos en las universidades de San Pablo y Mackenzie, con una ceremonia especial de apertura, competencias del campeonato universitario paulista, conferencias sobre deporte y salud, cursos de fisioterapia y charlas con deportistas destacados.
En la sede de la Federación del Deporte Universitario Argentino, más de 20 federaciones deportivas nacionales participarán de un encuentro en el que, entre otras autoridades, estuvo presente el secretario general del Comité Olímpico Argentino, Mario Moccia.
En Venezuela, la Universidad Nacional Experimental de las Artes (Caracas) será la sede de la actividad principal con exhibiciones de artes marciales, competencias de ajedrez y tenis de Mesa, bailes y conferencias sobre el deporte universitario y su rol en la sociedad. Participarán también la Universidad Alejandro de Humboldt, la Universidad Nacional Experimental de la Seguridad y la Universidad Militar Bolivariana de Venezuela. Además, en la Universidad Bolivariana de Venezuela se realizarán actividades recreativas y deportivas, y en otras ciudades como Valencia, Barquisimeto, Maracaibo y Barcelona se realizarán charlas sobre el deporte universitario y el intercambio deportivo.
En Costa Rica hay actividades programadas en 16 universidades de todo el país, conversatorios con estudiantes que participaron en eventos universitarios internacionales, que presidirán el ministro de Deportes y la directora de Deportes y Recreación del país. La Universidad de Costa Rica hará circuitos deportivos para los estudiantes.
La Liga de Deportes de Uruguay, en tanto, enmarca el día con una competencia de natación y publicidad en los medios de todo el país y en la comunicación con los clubes que conforman la Liga. Además, todas las actividades del próximo fin de semana también se enmarcarán en el IDUS 2018, por lo que los festejos se extenderán por varios días.
