[:es]Los miembros del Comité Ejecutivo de FISU América mantuvieron una nueva reunión de trabajo, la quinta en lo que va de 2018, en la que se realizaron informes de los eventos concluidos y de los proyectos en marcha, a la vez que quedó establecido el cronograma de actividades para el año próximo. El encuentro fue vía Skype, para optimizar tiempo y recursos en los representantes de todos los países y garantizar mayor participación.
En primer lugar, el presidente de FISU América, Alim Maluf Neto, recomendó el cumplimiento de las fechas de inscripciones y pagos para quienes aspiren a participar en la Universiada de Verano Nápoles 2019. Además, manifestó el honor de haber acompañado a la Federación del deporte Universitario Argentino (FeDUA) en la Casa del Deporte Universitario de los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud Buenos Aires 2018.
En ese evento, del cual el tesorero de FISU América, Emiliano Ojea, detalló el éxito alcanzado, se firmó un memorando de entendimiento con la Federación Internacional de Bádminton.
Maluf Neto también reflejó los elogios recibidos por FISU a la organización de los primeros FISU América Games en conjunto con la Confederación Brasileña de Deporte Universitario (CBDU).
La presidenta del Comité de Educación, América Alvarado, actualizó los avances del Comité Organizador del CONDDE para el Foro FISU América, que tendrá lugar en Huixquilucan, México, del 21 al 24 de noviembre, en el que estará presente el secretario General de FISU, Eric Saintrond.
El secretario de FISU América, Sandy Rodríguez, informó las sedes que se han asignado para los eventos de 2019. El diálogo FISU – FISU América será en Colombia, del 21 al 23 de mayo, donde el 18 y 19 del mismo mes habrá reunión del Comité Ejecutivo de FISU América. La tercera Copa FISU América 3×3 será en Brasilia, Brasil, del 10 al 15 de junio. Una nueva reunión de Comité Ejecutivo tendrá lugar el 6 de julio en el marco de la Universiada de Verano en Nápoles.
Este año, la primera Copa Futsal de FISU América será en Misiones, Argentina, del 20 al 28 de octubre. Y en 2020, México y Chile ya han manifestado sus deseos de organizar los segundos FISU América Games.
Por último, el presidente de la Organización deportiva Universitaria de Centroamérica y el Caribe (ODUCC), Gerardo Corrales, valoró el trabajo que desarrolla Ascun Deportes de Colombia para la realización de los Juegos Deportivos Universitarios Centroamericanos y del Caribe, el evento más antiguo del continente.
