[:es]La Universiada de Verano 2017 en Taipéi también fue propicia para la asamblea general de la Organización Deportiva Universitaria de Centroamérica y del Caribe (ODUCC), que se desarrolló este 27 de agosto.
En el encuentro, se realizaron informes de la edición número 16 de los Juegos ODUCC, realizados en abril en Venezuela, y además se analizó la situación actual de las federaciones universitarias de Centroamérica y del Caribe, como así también el futuro y los desafíos que se presentan en la región para el desarrollo y fortalecimiento del deporte universitario.
En la reunión se ratificó a Colombia como sede de los Juegos ODUCC del año 2019, y finalmente se incorporó al Comité Ejecutivo a Alex Fúnes de El Salvador, como tesorero.[:en]The 2017 Summer Universiade in Taipei was also aspicious to the general assembly of the University Sports Organization of Central America and the Caribbean (ODUCC), which was held this August 27.
At the meeting, there were reports of the 16th edition of the ODUCC Games, held in April in Venezuela, and the current situation of the university federations of Central America and the Caribbean was also analyzed, as well as the future and challenges for the region to the development and strengthening of university sports.
At the meeting, Colombia was ratified as the venue for the 2019 ODUCC Games, and finally Alex Fúnes of El Salvador was incorporated to the Executive Committee as treasurer.[:]
