[:es]Se realizaron las reuniones del Comité Ejecutivo de FISU en la sede de la organización, en Lausanne, Suiza. El presidente de FISU América, Alim Maluf Neto, y el presidente de la CBDU y vicepresidente de FISU, Luciano Cabral, estuvieron presentes en el encuentro, que abordó los próximos eventos del calendario deportivo universitario, especialmente las universiadas de invierno en Krasnoyarsk, Rusia, y de verano en Nápoles, Italia.

Durante las reuniones, también fue resaltada la primera edición de los FISU America Games, realizados en San Pablo en julio. Además de exhibirse un video de la competición que mostró números y resultados, se resaltó la primera inclusión del deporte paraolímpico en competencias universitarias y el presidente de CBDU hizo entrega de medallas conmemorativas a Oleg Matytsin, presidente de FISU, y Alim Maluf Neto.

El presidente de FISU América expresó: “Fueron dos días de discusiones muy provechosas que muestran la unión de todo el movimiento universitario mundial. Podemos destacar las nuevas reglamentaciones para las Universiadas 2019, así como la aprobación de dos proyectos de FISU América 2017 junto al Comité Ejecutivo de FISU. Otro punto de reconocimiento fue el éxito de los primeros FISU América Games, y debe destacarse también que el continente americano recibirá en 2023 la Universiada de Invierno en la ciudad de Lake Placid, Estados Unidos”.[:en]
