El presidente de FISU AMERICA, Alim Maluf Neto, junto al tesorero, Emiliano Ojea, representaron al deporte universitario en la XIX Asamblea Ordinaria del Consejo Americano del Deporte, llevada a cabo en la ciudad de Punta del Este, Uruguay.
Formaron parte los ministros de deporte de todo el continente, en donde el presidente de FISU AMERICA expuso la realidad, la visión y la misión de nuestra organización, además enseñó un informe con las actividades realizadas el último año y compartió con los ministros el calendario de acciones 2019-2020.
“Esta invitación es un reconocimiento al trabajo de las federaciones nacionales universitarias como fuente del desarrollo del deporte en América” expresó Maluf Neto luego de la reunión.
Como cada año, en esta Asamblea se reúnen los ministros y líderes del deporte continental para discutir los temas más relevantes del deporte en todo América. En esta ocasión, FISU AMERICA fue invitado a ser parte de este gran evento por primera vez, lo que demuestra la importancia y la creciente difusión del deporte universitario en nuestro continente.
