[:es]En un comunicado oficial que firmaron el presidente de FISU América, Alim Maluf Neto, y el Secretario General, Sandy Rodríguez, el Comité Ejecutivo informó la eliminación del límite de edad para estudiantes atletas participantes en los paradeportes del evento, que tendrá lugar del 19 al 29 de julio en San Pablo, Brasil.
En el documento se notifica: “El Comité Ejecutivo de FISU América tiene el honor de informarles que los estudiantes atletas participantes en las disciplinas paradeportivas de los primeros Juegos de FISU América San Pablo 2018 están exonerados del cumplimiento del requisito establecido en el Artículo 19 en su literal ‘d’ del Reglamento General: ‘Tener al menos 17 años y menos de 25 años el 1 de enero del año del evento’. Esto con la finalidad de facilitar participación de los estudiantes atletas con discapacidad en nuestro magno evento del deporte universitario del continente americano”.

In an official statement signed by the president of FISU America, Alim Maluf Neto, and the Secretary General, Sandy Rodríguez, the Executive Committee announced the elimination of the age limit for student athletes participating in the paradeportive sports of the event, which will take place from 19 to July 29 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The document notifies: “The FISU America Executive Committee has the honor to inform you that the student athletes participating in the Paradeportives Sports of the first FISU America Games Sao Paulo 2018 are exempt from the fulfillment of the requirement established in Article 19.d of the General Regulations: ‘Being at least 17 years old and under 25 years old on January 1 of the year of the event’.
