[:es]FISU América 3×3: Resultados del día 1[:en]FISU America 3×3: Day 1 Results[:]

[:es]Con 17 equipos participantes de 9 países, comenzó en el gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda de Santa Tecla, El Salvador, el torneo panamericano FISU América 3×3, que es clasificatorio para la Liga Mundial FISU en Xiamen, China. Desde Honduras, arribó América Alvarado en representación del Comité Ejecutivo de FISU América en la ceremonia inaugural, donde hubo presentaciones artísticas y todo el colorido del desfile de las delegaciones.

En la rama femenina, por el Grupo A la Universidad Politécnica Territorial de Lara Andrés Eloy Blanco (UPTLAEB) de Venezuela ganó sus primeros dos partidos, al igual que la Universidad Nacional de Colombia (UNAL). De este modo, ambos equipos definirán el primer puesto de la zona cuando se enfrenten entre sí, en tanto que la tercera y cuarta colocación se establecerá entre Universidad de El Salvador (UES) y la Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) del mismo país.

En el Grupo B, Universidad de Chile (UCh) derrotó al Centro de Enseñanza Técnica y Superior (CETyS) de México 19-17, mientras la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) venció 13-10 a la Universidad José María Delgado (UJMD) de El Salvador. Luego, CETyS se recuperó y le ganó 21-11 a UJMD en el tercer encuentro de la zona.

En la rama masculina, la Universidad de Costa Rica ganó los dos encuentros que disputó, ante el Centro Universitario (CEU) de México y UJMD de El Salvador, y se posicionó en lo más alto de la zona. La Escuela de Administración, Finanzas e Instituto Tecnológico (EAFIT) de Colombia ganó el único partido jugado, frente a la Universidad de El Salvador (UES), que a la vez ganó su segundo partido contra UJMD.

En el Grupo B, la Universidad Nacional de La Matanza (UNLaM) de Argentina ganó los dos partidos que disputó, misma cantidad de victorias alcanzadas por la Universidad de Carabobo (Venezuela) en tres encuentros. Los otros dos integrantes del grupo, USC de Brasil y UNAB de El Salvador, aún no pudieron ganar.

 [:en]With 17 participating teams from 9 countries at Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium in Santa Tecla, El Salvador, Pan American tournament FISU América 3×3 began, and it’s qualifying for FISU World League in Xiamen, China. From Honduras, América Alvarado arrived to represent FISU America Executive Committee at the Opening Ceremony, that showed artistic numbers and the colorful team presentations.

In the female branch, by Group A the Polytechnic Territorial University of Lara Andrés Eloy Blanco (UPTLAEB) of Venezuela won its first two games, as did National University of Colombia (UNAL). Thus, both teams will define the first place when they face each other, while the third and fourth place will be established between the University of El Salvador (UES) and the Andrés Bello University (UNAB) from the same country.

In Group B, University of Chile (UCh) defeated 19-17 the Center for Technical and Higher Education (CETyS) of Mexico, while the University of Costa Rica (UCR) won 13-10 against José María Delgado University (UJMD) from El Salvador. Then, CETyS recovered and won 21-11 to UJMD in the third match.

 

In the male branch, the University of Costa Rica won the two matches played, against the University Center (CEU) of Mexico and UJMD of El Salvador, and positioned itself at the top of the Pool. The School of Administration, Finance and Technological Institute (EAFIT) of Colombia won the only game played, against the University of El Salvador (UES), which at the same time won its second match against UJMD.

In Group B, National University of La Matanza (UNLaM) of Argentina won the two matches played, the same number of victories achieved by University of Carabobo (Venezuela) in three matches. The other two members of the group, USC of Brazil and UNAB of El Salvador, still could not win.
