[:es]Con el inicio de las competencias de los Juegos Olímpicos de la Juventud Buenos Aires 2018, también inauguró la Casa del Deporte Universitario FISU, ubicada en un lugar estratégico del Parque Olímpico, al lado del punto de encuentro del equipo argentino y frente al estadio de hockey.

El acto de apertura contó con la presencia del presidente de la FISU, Oleg Matytsin, miembros del Comité Olímpico Internacional y autoridades de la FeDUA. También acompañó el rector de la Universidad Nacional de la Matanza, Daniel Martínez, representante de FISU América ante el Consejo Académico de la FISU. Matytsin, quien valoró y agradeció el trabajo de FeDUA en este proyecto que ya es realidad, fue uno de los responsables de cortar las cintas junto a Emiliano Ojea, presidente de FeDUA y tesorero de FISU América. Ambos mandatarios intercambiaron presentes y celebraron que el Deporte Universitario tenga un espacio en el movimiento olímpico.

“Estamos muy felices de ser parte del Movimiento Olímpico y, sin dudas, seremos también parte de su legado, porque vamos a demostrar que estudiar y hacer deporte es posible“, aseguró Ojea.

La Casa del Deporte Universitario estará abierta todos los días, de 9 a 18 hs. Habrá actividades, clínicas y charlas informativas a cargo de estudiantes deportistas, profesionales y rectores, entre otros. Además, quienes asistan podrán recorrer el Museo FISU, conocer su historia y competencias internacionales. Por otra parte, los voluntarios brindarán asesoramiento acerca del uso de las distintas terminales interactivas, donde los jóvenes podrán consultar qué carreras se dictan cerca de su ciudad, de acuerdo con sus intereses.

With the start of the competitions of Youth Olympic Games Buenos Aires 2018, it also inaugurated FISU University Sports House, located in a strategic place of the Olympic Park, next to the meeting point of the Argentine team and in front of the hockey stadium.

The opening ceremony was attended by FISU president, Oleg Matytsin, members of the International Olympic Committee and FeDUA authorities. National University of La Matanza Rector, Daniel Martinez, representative of FISU America before the Academic Council of the FISU, also accompanied. Matytsin, who valued and thanked the work of FeDUA in this project that is already a reality, was one of those responsible for cutting the tapes together with Emiliano Ojea, president of FeDUA and FISU America Treasurer. Both leaders exchanged presents and celebrated that the University Sport has a space in the Olympic movement.

“We are very happy to be part of the Olympic Movement and, without doubt, we will also be part of its legacy, because we are going to demonstrate that studying and doing sports it’s possible,” Ojea said.

The University Sport House will be open every day, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be activities, clinics and informative talks by sports students, professionals and rectors, among others. In addition, those who attend may visit the FISU Museum, learn about its history and international skills. On the other hand, volunteers will provide advice on the use of different interactive terminals, where young people can see what careers are given near their city, according to their interests.
