From the 9th to the 12th of December is being carried out the Volunteer Leaders Academy in Tandil in the Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires (UNICEN), Argentina, where for the first time the academy received athletes-students from 5 different countries, members of FISU AMERICA.
Fray Mora (Universidad de Costa Rica) Julissa Osorio Retamal (Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación, Chile, Mauricio Gonzalez (UdeLaR, Uruguay) and Elisa María Dominguez Quezada (Universidad Dr. José Matías Delgado, El Salvador), are part in this 3rd edition of the Academia FeDUA with other 28 participant from Argentina.
Created in 2016, it is the only Academy program depending on the Education Area of the Federation. Argentina is also the only country that replies this activity that born four years ago in the FISU. The event is in a different place every year and during 4 days, the students have an agenda with talks, workshops, discussion groups, and sports activities.
Also, who participate in the event will make a final inform to contribute to the world of the university sport and some participant will have the opportunity to be part of the FVLA 2020, organized by FISU.
José Solimanto, sport’s Director of the UNICEN and member of the FeDUA commission, was present in the opening of the event coordinated by Tatiana Alonso Camos, member of FeDUA. Also, Mariano Orlando and Sofía Berrío, Argentinian Representatives in the second and third edition(respectively) in the FVLA.
