Con sede en Napoli, con motivo de las 30 UNIVERSIADAS de Verano, se llevó a cabo la Asamblea General de FISU AMÉRICA. En ella, junto a los distintos representantes de las federaciones nacionales, se contó con la presencia de miembros de FISU, entre ellos su presidente, Oleg Matytsin.

Durante la Asamblea se presentaron los informes correspondientes a los eventos organizados y el desempeño de las distintas gestiones durante el pasado año 2018 y 2019, como el FISU AMERICA 3×3, FISU AMERICA Forum, FISU AMERICA Games y el Diálogo Estratégico.

En el encuentro también exhibieron los avances de cara la tercera edición de FISU AMERICA 3×3, evento que será realizado del 6 al 11 de Agosto en la ciudad de Maceió, Brasil, y otorgará plazas para el Campeonato Mundial de 3×3 de FISU Xiamen 2019, en China. En el mismo sentido, se presentó un informe sobre el primer Campeonato Universitario Panamericano FISU AMÉRICA FUTSAL, evento que tedrá lugar en Posadas, Misiones, Argentina del 20 al 27 de Septiembre.

Uno de los puntos fuertes de la reunión fue la confirmación de la segunda edición de los FISU AMÉRICA GAMES 2020, que se realizarán en México, en el mes de junio del año que viene. El evento tendrá las 9 disciplinas del programa regular de los juegos (Atletismo, Natación, Judo, Taekwondo, Badminton, Tenis, Tenis de Mesa, Futsal, Vóley y Básquet) y a su vez el Comité Organizador está evaluando sumar 3 disciplinas al programa, según confirmó Manuel Merodio, Secretario General de CONDDE (MEX) y Vicepresidente de FISU AMÉRICA.

Siguiendo con la agenda para el año entrante, Rosaura Mendez (Asesora de FISU) realizó la presentación oficial del FISU AMERICA FORUM COSTA RICA 2020.

Los presidentes y representantes de las distintas federaciones dedicaron un homenaje en memoria de Sandy Rodriguez y el presidente, Alim Maluf Neto, propuso hacer una mención como Miembro Honorífico de FISU AMÉRICA.

Además del presidente de FISU, participaron de la Asamblea el primer Vicepresidente, Leonz Eder, la Directora de Educación y Desarrollo, Lilia Barieva, el Manager de Desarrollo, Tarmo Jackson, y los presidentes de las Federaciónes Deportivas Universitarias Continentales de Asia, XUE Yanqing y Oceanía, Martin Doulton.

[:en]In Napoli within the 30° Summer Universiade, was carried out the General Assembly of FISU AMERICA. With the representatives of the national federations and some FISU members, among them, the president Oleg Matytsin.

During the Assembly was presented the informs about the events and management performances in the last 2 years, for example the FISU AMERICA 3×3, FISU AMERICA Forum, FISU AMERICA Games and the Strategic Dialogue.

In the meeting also was exposed the advances for the third edition of FISU AMERICA 3×3, event that will be carry out between the 6th and 11th of August in the city of Maceió, Brazil, giving place to the 3×3 FISU World Championship Xiamen 2019, in China. In the same way was presented the inform of the first Panamerican Universitary FISU AMERICA FUTSAL Championship, event that will take place in Posadas, Misiones, Argentina from the 20th to the 27th of September.

One of the important topics was the confirmation of the 2nd edition of the FISU AMERICA GAMES 2020 in México, in June next year. The event will have 9 sports discipline of the regular games (atheltics, swimming, judo, taekwondo, badminton, tennis, table tennis, futsal, volleyball and basketball) and the Organize Committee is evaluating to add 3 disciplines to the programme, confirmed Manuel Merodio, General Secretary of CONDDE (MEX) and Vice-President of FISU AMERICA.

Following the next year’s agenda, Rosaura Mendez (FISU advisor) introduce the official presentation of the FISU AMERICA FORUM COSTA RICA 2020.

The presidents and representatives of the national federations honoured the memory of Sany Rodriguez and, the president Alim Maluf Neto, proposed to make a special mention as Honorary Member of FISU AMERICA.

Also from FISU, was part of the meeting the First Vice-President, Leonz Eder, the Education and Development Director, Lilia Barieva; the Development Manager, Tarmo Jackson, and the presidents of the Continental University Sport Federations of Asia, Xue Yanqing and, from Oceania, Martin Doulton.[:]
